The organization, which has been backed by a number of Silicon Valley executives, has played a key role in helping get notable housing-related legislation passed, including California Senate Bill 79, which legalizes large apartment buildings near major transit stops, and a reform of the 1970 California Environmental Quality Act, known as CEQA.
